Third Party Email Settings

User Support Services will offer no support for third-party applications. Third-party email applications and smartphones will require the following configuration to access salud.unm.edu accounts. You may try these settings on your own accord.

Incoming Mail Server:

  • Address is imap.health.unm.edu
  • The port number should be 993
  • You will meed to provide your HSC NetID and password
  • SSL must be on
  • No Secure Password Authentication

Outgoing Mail Server:

  • Address is smtp.unm.edu
  • The port number should be 465
  • This server will require authentication
  • You will need to provide your UNM (Main Campus) NetID and Password
  • SSL must be on
  • Secure Password Authentication required
