Printer Support

The User Support Services helpdesk supports both local and network printing methods for computers running the latest versions of the Microsoft operating system. We will install printer drivers and add IP addresses to the network printers. If you have a new network printer, you must first obtain an IP Address at Static IP Address before contacting the helpdesk.

The helpdesk does not move printers, repair printers, order toner, or provide any services beyond configuring the printer. If your printer is under warranty then contact the vendor for warranty repair. If the printer needs repair and is not under warranty, then contact a vendor that can repair your make and model.

In most cases, printers that scan to email or scan to a network server are not supported at the HSC. The Techs Systems group will need to be contacted to determine if the request can be accommodated by entering a heat self service ticket at Heat Self Service.
