Some devices like printers and servers require a static
IP address on the network. You can request a static IP
address on-line by filling out and submitting the
IP Address Request Form.
To have a network port activated for your printer or computer, please create a Helpdesk Ticket and please be sure to include the building, room number, and the face plate number which is found on the wall plate where you plug in the network cable. This information is very important for us to activate the port. Without the information it will take longer to have the port activated.
