The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes offers evaluation of children and adolescents with metabolic/endocrine disorders.  A new multidisciplinary clinic has been established for children with diabetes mellitus.  Also, home and hospital-based diabetic education programs, statewide outreach, evaluation of children with growth disorders and chronic metabolic/endocrine disease, diagnosis and management of infants/children with genetically determined metabolic disease and clinical and laboratory research programs are provided.  Continuing education is provided for practicing physicians.
