The rotations will be mainly based at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center located at 2211 Lomas Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106. The University Hospital is one of the state's major hospitals, as well as the primary teaching hospital for UNMH’s health profession students. The 372-bed acute tertiary care facility provides state-of-the-art patient care through inpatient as well as outpatient and emergency services. The University Hospital was recognized by HCIA as one of the top-100 hospitals in the U.S. in 1994. The resident will take a total of twelve rotations and will gain experience from these rotations through working with nationally recognized practitioners in various areas of cardiovascular medicine.
