Stefani Hines
was one of the original creators of Healthy Voices. She was the Executive
Producer for the Hurricanes Katrina & Rita public service announcements and for
the first Healthy Voices Radio program, Smoke, Trash, and Trout: Writings from
the Rio Grande Valley.
Stefani is the Assistant Dean for Assessment and an
Environmental Health Specialist at the University of New Mexico, College of
Pharmacy. She has worked in the fields of environmental health and science
education/curriculum development for over 13 years and specializes in science
and risk communication, environmental health public outreach, and assessment and
evaluation.
In addition to her work with evaluation and assessment for
the College of Pharmacy, she is a contributing editor to Green Builder Magazine.
She is also the project lead for the Environmental Health Perspectives Science
Education program and is serving a 3-yr appointment on the National Advisory
Environmental Health Sciences Council for the National Institute for
Environmental Health Sciences.
