INFECTIOUS DISEASE RESIDENCY PROGRAM
- Complete twelve one-Month rotations.
- Complete a Clinical service and research project designed to
improve the clinical pharmacy services of the department and achieve
a specific research objective.
- Participate in and complete a Drug Use Evaluation (DUE).
- Prepare and present a project at the Western States Conference
for Pharmacy Residents and Preceptors.
- Participate in an ambulatory continuity of care clinic one year
in length.
- Participate in teaching activities of the Department of Pharmacy
Services and College of Pharmacy.
- Participate in residents’ meetings.
- Residents have an integrated service commitment designed to
assure that the residents can function as pharmacy generalists. To
achieve this objective, residents are scheduled to work 12 hours per
month in the inpatient pharmacy of UNM Hospitals.
The
University of New Mexico’s Doctor of Pharmacy program is
