New Mexico MTM Team Presents at National HRSA Meeting

New Mexico Medication Therapy Management (MTM) team presented during the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Patient Safety and Pharmacy Collaborative (PSCP) learning Session 3 in Washington, D.C. May 6- 7. The MTM team's clinical champion Christy Vigil, R.Ph, PhC (Class of '92) of El Centro Health Center in Espanola and technical advisor Galina Priloutskaya, PhD, MBA, CHCA, from the New Mexico Medical Review Association shared preliminary results from the first three months of face-to-face visits of the MTM pilot. The New Mexico Team shared baseline data, perspectives on progress on the various phases of the project thus far, elements of the change package (including leadership commitment, integrated care delivery, patient-centered care, and a safer medication use system) that have been used in developing the project.
