
Lucinda Maine, PhD, RPh is 2010 UNM College of
Pharmacy Convocation Keynote Speaker

Dr. Lucinda Maine, Executive Vice President and CEO of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) will be the keynote speaker at the UNM College of Pharmacy’s 2010 Convocation Ceremony.
Her colleagues describe her as being "one of the nation's foremost advocates of the appropriate role of the pharmacist in managing drug therapy." "She has been in the center of virtually all of the most progressive pharmacy initiatives..."
Dr. Maine earned her PhD from the University of Minnesota Kellogg Pharmaceutical Clinical Scientist Program in 1985 and her BS in pharmacy from Auburn University School of Pharmacy in 1980.
Eighty-six candidates will receive their Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at this year’s convocation ceremony and Dr. Maine will be speaking in front of an estimated audience of about 1600 people. UNM College of Pharmacy’s convocation ceremony is open to the public.
