Dr. Mary K. Walker Appointed to Review Panel
Dr. Mary Walker, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UNM College of Pharmacy, has been appointed to the EPA Science Advisory Board Dioxin Review Panel. This newly chartered Advisory Board will provide independent comment on the revised EPA 2003 Dioxin Reassessment Document. Walker’s research is focused on toxicity associated with dioxin exposure and the physiologic changes that result in cardiovascular disease.
