Giving to the College of Pharmacy
Papiani Dean's
Giving Circle
Your gift to the
University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy’s
annual giving society, the Papiani Dean’s Giving
Circle, will give the Dean the opportunity to
respond to emerging needs on a case-by-case basis.
Dean Pieper would like to have the ability to answer
the call for such things as:
-
Sending students to national meetings
and conferences: Our pharmacy
students have the talent and desire to
be national leaders in professional
organizations such as the APhA, the ASHP,
and the NCPA. For our students to
achieve their goals, we need to provide
support for their travel to these
important meetings. Thitry-eight
students went to New Orleans on March 29
for the 2003APhA meeting and the College
paid for their registration and lodging.
Your financial support will help to
defray some of these costs.
-
Funding students as Tutors: We’d
love to have more opportunities to
involve our top students in the
classroom. They need teaching, coaching
and mentorship skills to assist other
students.
-
Continuing the Mentorship Program:
Our graduates out in the work force and
community leaders can offer a lot to our
students’ professional development.
While the mentors have much to give,
there are administrative costs
associated with a program like this that
generally do not get top budget
priority. This is a good example of a
program that will go unfunded without
your support.
Dean
Pieper and the students and faculty at the
College depend on your gifts to help make
your alma mater the best it can be. Your
contribution will make a difference.
Yes, I will join the College of Pharmacy
Dean’s Giving Circle with my annual gift
of $1,000.
