Interests:

The focus of my research is to understand the cellular and molecular events involved in brain tissue damage in acute ischemic stroke. The ongoing research is particularly interested in determining whether and how oxygen treatment interrupts the evolution of ischemic damage to brain tissue and the blood brain barrier microvasculature.
