Toxicology &
Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Research
Note: MS & PHD in Biomedical Sciences Applicants must apply through the UNM HSC BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES GRADUATE PROGRAM
Students in the MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Toxicology) do not receive stipend support from the College of Pharmacy during their studies. Individual faculty mentors are expected to fund these stipends. Therefore, it is extremely important that you contact a College of Pharmacy faculty member to ascertain whether he/she has the resources to support you as a MS Toxicology student. Students who do not require financial support (ie you or your employer will pay stipend, tuition, fees, etc) should also identify a faculty mentor prior to application submission. A list of Pharmaceutical Sciences faculty members can be found at http://hsc.unm.edu/pharmacy/gradtoxpharmfaculty.shtml and individual faculty homepages can be found by clicking on the faculty’s name.
Once you have identified a faculty mentor to support your application, you can then begin the application. Please remember to include your faculty sponsor’s name in your letter of intent.
