PharmacoEconomic, Pharmacoepidemiology, and Pharmaceutical Policy and Outcomes Research Graduate Program (PEPPOR)

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
 

Upon training and achieving a graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with emphasis in pharmacoeconomic, pharmaceutical policy, and outcomes research or clinical research  students will be able to explore careers in:

 

  • Teaching and conducting research at colleges and universities.

  • Measuring and enhancing the commercial value of healthcare products and services in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

  • Policy analysis and management within hospitals, insurance companies, pharmacy benefit management companies and government agencies.

  • The design, conduct, closeout and management of clinical trials of therapeutic modalities in the pharmaceutical industry or other groups or agencies sponsoring medical research.

Students are encouraged to pursue internships after their second year of course work in their related field of interest, guidance for which will be provided by the faculty
