New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center
Public Education
The New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center coordinates statewide public education programs in order to reduce the incidence of unintentional poisonings and increase awareness of the New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center's services.
The Center provides the following public poison prevention educational services:
- Presentations at a variety of locations including schools, businesses, senior centers and professional conferences.
- Exhibits at health fairs, and other educational events.
- Media consultation.
- Education material distribution (brochures, telephone labels, posters).
Educational Materials
The New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center provides educational brochures, and telephone labels to the public and health care professionals statewide. The Center provides 50 of each item free per year. To place an order for materials and to get a price listing call
