RAC GRANTS
Applications for HSC RAC proposals for 2011 are invited.
Awards of up to $10,000 will be made for this round of review.
The Health Sciences Center Research Allocation Committee (HSCRAC) reviews and makes recommendations concerning research proposals that are designed to provide preliminary funding data to support extramural funding applications, especially from new investigators.
Funds are not awarded for support of work leading to advanced degree nor proposals whose primary result will be a student's thesis or dissertation.
Funds may not be used to compensate faculty's time spent on a project.
ELIGIBILITY
full-time faculty (including research and clinical faculty) from the College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences
Priority is given to new investigators, however, one award will be available for an established investigator and/or previous RAC awardee.
Previous RAC awardees must submit a progress and outcomes report in addition to the application.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION of applications is Noon, February 18, 2011.
