Programmatic Goals & Objectives

 
  • Provide opportunities for PharmD students to engage in research projects in the specialty area of radiopharmacy

  • The postgraduate program is intended to provide professional education for pharmacists and chemists engaged in small-scale preparation and quality control of novel (or not commercially available) radiopharmaceuticals

  • Conduct pre-clinical and clinical trials on novel radiopharmaceuticals

Yubin Miao, Ph.D. - developing novel radiolabeled peptides for cancer diagnosis and therapy using radiolabeled alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (a-MSH) peptides for melanoma detection and therapy
