Programmatic Research Goals and Objectives
 

  • A primary research focus will be to document the value of pharmaceutical care towards improving patient outcomes

  • To participate in research that will directly lead to improvements in health care for the New Mexico population

  • COP clinical faculty will serve as research mentors for students, residents, and fellows

Melanie Dodd, Pharm.D. - retrospective drug utilization review and outcomes assessment

 

Mark Holdsworth, Pharm.D. – pediatric oncology; nausea/vomiting and adverse drug events

 

Patricia Marshik, Pharm.D. – pediatric asthma

 

Renee-Claude Mercier, Pharm.D. – infectious diseases; in vitro pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic studies; endocarditis; HIV/AIDS

 

James Nawarskas, Pharm.D. - cardiovascular pharmacotherapy
