The Office for Diversity is proud to support diversity among the staff through the HSC Diversity Mavens, a group created to encourage, support, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at the HSC through the hiring, promotion, and retention of valued staff. The Diversity Maven’s strategic objective is to create and disseminate a comprehensive long-term HSC Diversity initiative and expand the visibility of the HSC Diversity Mavens.
The Diversity Mavens co-sponsor, along with the Office for Diversity, the Diversity Series, which encourages staff to participate in the ongoing dialogue about campus and community inclusivity and diversity. The Diversity Series engages the UNM and surrounding communities in meaningful dialogue and critical reflection regarding issues important to a diverse group of people.
Create and disseminate a comprehensive long term HSC Diversity initiative and expand the visibility of the Health Sciences Center and School of Medicine diversity missions.
