Current Funded Research Activities

  1. Characterize pulmonary immune regulation in asthma with emphasis on the role of pulmonary dendritic cells - NHLBI Asthma SCOR
  2. Examine effects of category A bioweapons (anthrax, cowpox, tularemia) on human peripheral blood and lung dendritic cells - NIAID U19
  3. Examine effects of influenza, Mtb, S.pneumonia and vaccinia on human macrophages and dendritics cells -NIAID DeCODE project
  4. Using mice and nonhuman primates, examine the pulmonary response to B. anthracis - NIAID PPG
