Interests:
I am interested in the role that steroid receptors, particularly those for estrogen and androgens, play in carcinogenesis, especially their relation to aggressive disease. Currently I am working with the departments of Surgery and Medicine, studying the association of polymorphisms within these receptor genes with the inherited risk for prostate cancer.

Osteoporosis candidate genes, biochemical markers of bone metabolism, skeletal metabolism and pathology.
