By virtue of their contribution to RIOS Net's projects, members are eligible for appointment as Volunteer Faculty at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Obtaining this letter of academic title from the University requires that you fill out an application and mail it, along with a copy of your curriculum vitae, to:

With a faculty appointment, you become eligible for the valuable benefit of off-site library access including full-text articles and e-journals. Other benefits are also available, though most are useful mainly to Albuquerque residents. If you wish to obtain a LOBO Card for this purpose, please contact Julia McKibbin.
If you do not receive your faculty status, or if you have any difficulties with any part of the process, please contact your Outreach Specialist. When it is time to renew, you will receive an application in the mail from your department.
