Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Problem Drinking Handbook
October is the LAST month for these two, so now's the time!
RIOS Net is partnering in a
study
aimed at breast cancer prevention in New Mexico. The problem is that
Hispanic women over age 40 in this state get fewer mammograms, are more
likely to be diagnosed with later-stage breast cancer, and have lower
survival rates (more...)
RIOS Net clinician
is working with the
UNM
Prevention Research Center on a five-year study called the
CHILE project
(Child
Health
Initiative for Lifelong Eating and Exercise ) focusing on more than 600
preschool age children in New Mexico. The study promotes increased
physical activity; increased consumption of fruits, vegetables, and
whole grains; decreased consumption of sweetened beverages and high-fat
foods; and decreased screen time.
