WELCOME!
Our History...
First conceptualized at the AAMS Spring Conference in
Washington, DC, April 2004. The SIG proposal was presented to the AAMS
Board in June 2004 and a steering committee was formed in August 2004.
Our first meeting was held at the AMTC in Cincinnati, October 2004.
Our Purpose...
The critical care transport industry is a unique arena that
involves meeting the educational needs and credentialing of many
different health care providers in close proximity.
To assist in moving education forward, the SIG will allow a forum for exchange of information. A "think tank" group to explore new educational strategies and interface with outside educational organizations to enhance our education foundation as well as develop other ideas related to critical care transport education.
