The School of Medicine has
discontinued the Early Decision Program for the 2008 application year.
All applicants to the University of New Mexico School of
Medicine must submit their applications through the American Medical College
Application Service (AMCAS) during the application time period of June 1, 2007
and November 15, 2007. Deadline extensions will be granted only for problems beyond your control.
You will be contacted by email if you have been approved to
complete your application to the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
You will then be given a login and password to complete a secondary application
and a residency form. You should not send any secondary application material including
letters of recommendation, application fees or photos unless you have been
approved to complete your application. Please add the University of New Mexico
School of Medicine domain (salud.unm.edu) to your safe list (especially Hotmail and
Yahoo users). Check your junk mail list regularly in case our email has been
deposited there.
