BIOC 448L
Biochemistry Laboratory The biochemistry laboratory course is a hands-on learning experience designed to introduce students to the laboratory techniques and practices used in modern biomedical research. In addition to introducing specific techniques and the theory underlying the methods, this course puts a major emphasis on the application of biochemical techniques and use of this technology in answering biomedical questions. Prerequisites: Course prerequisites: BIOCHM 445 (with a grade of C or better) and BIOCHM 446 (or concurrent registration). This is a required course for the BS degree in Biochemistry. To receive credit for this course you must register for both section 1 and either section 2 (Thursday) or section 3 (Friday).
