• Structure-based drug design: Targets include dehydrogenases (Rossmann fold), cholesterol esterase, protein disulfide isomerase, thioredoxin, BCLxl, urokinase
• Biological properties of the natural product polyphenols and analogs: gossypol, curcumin, resveratrol
• Development of anti-inflammatory drugs targeted at transcription factors NFkB & AP-1
