Applicants would have a PhD in genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field with a record of peer-reviewed publications. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with demonstrated ability to carry out independent research using yeast. The candidate will combine genetics and biochemical approaches to address the molecular mechanisms and signals involved in the regulation of V-ATPase complexes. A strong background in yeast genetics, cell biology, and experience with protein biochemistry is desirable.
The candidate will be expected to participate in and contribute to a highly interactive research environment involving students and should be willing and able to apply for individual post-doctoral fellowships.
