Research Interests

The understanding of the biological and molecular processes underlying the formation
and maintenance of central and peripheral nervous system myelin. Molecular mechanism of
protein S-nitrosation. Pathophysiology of demyelinating disorders, specifically multiple
sclerosis and adrenoleukodystrophy. Oxidative protein damage in inflammatory demyelination.
