The goal of the administrative staff: R. Steven Padilla, M.D., Professor and Chair; Debi Abram, M.P.A., Clinical Department Administrator, and Sheryl Howarth, Program Coordinator is to ensure that the four mission areas of the department are carried out in an effective, efficient, and professional manner. The Administrative Staff are committed to excellence in these areas and are available to assist the faculty, learners (medical students, residents, and others), patients, and guests of the department in the attainment of their respective goals.
From time to time, the department faculty and staff participate in clinical trials to help determine the potential of new, experimental pharmaceutical agents to effectively treat various dermatological conditions. The Administrative Staff are assigned to successfully manage these clinical trials and interested individuals can contact Sheryl or Debi at 272-6000 if you think that you are eligible to participate in a current clinical trial.
