DAT Application Instructions

DAT Program

DAT is a six-week summer program for NM residents preparing to take the DAT and apply to dental school. DAT students will attend a Kaplan DAT prep course on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-9:30 pm. Students are required to attend all classes and activities (if applicable).

The program dates are May 19 - July 2, 2009

The program curriculum includes the following:

  • Curriculum will follow that of a typical Kaplan summer prep course
  • Comprehensive preparation in an interactive group setting
  • Exclusive DAT strategies and methods
  • One full-length mid-term and final practice exam.

Eligibility

  • New Mexico Resident
  • 2.75 GPA
  • Students should have completed their dental school pre-requisites, including General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biology (201L and 202L).

Cost

There is no direct cost for participation in DAT.
