Staff

Rekha Chaturvedi is the accountant for Undergraduate Medical Education and Student Services.  She has worked at UNM for 10 years; her first position was at the department of Cell Biology and Physiology.  Prior to joining UME, she worked in the School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, as Administrative Assistant II for five years followed by Accountant for 3 ½ years.  Rekha has a Master’s in Sociology, which she earned from Christ Church College, India.  She is currently working towards an associate degree in Accounting.  Her responsibilities at UME include reconciling accounts, budget preparation, and resolving financial issues.

Rekha has two daughters who have graduated from UNM in December 2006 and May 2007. She loves reading and traveling.
