We are interested in determining the clinical value of molecular abnormalities found in OC and CC. Specifically, the role of the epidermal growth factor family of receptors (EGFR, ErbB2 to 4), VEGFR, GPR30, and heat shock proteins is being evaluated in prospective studies to establish if abnormalities found in these molecular targets are associated with clinical response in these tumors.

In early 2007 we will be opening a survey of how European physicians reverse excessive anticoagulation with warfarin and could use some student help on this project. In addition, we have several contemplated studies in coagulation that would be retrospective chart reviews. These studies are waiting for willing students to do the footwork.
In the past our students have always completed their project(s) on time and with good marks. Several have received SOM awards for their projects. We always encourage our students to publish their results at least as an abstract for their CVs.  If you would like the names of former students to see how I have performed as a mentor I will be happy to provide them.
