

Melissa Alexander has been in EMS since 1982. Her undergraduate degree in Community Health Education is from Purdue University. She has a master’s degree in Health Sciences Education from Indiana University and is completing a doctorate in Human and Organizational Studies at the George Washington University. Melissa has published a number of articles in Domain3, the trade publication of the National Association of EMS Educators and has recently published a text on EMS education. She is a contributor to numerous EMS textbooks and frequently develops instructor resource materials and test banks for EMS texts. Melissa’s research interests are in the areas of adult learning in EMS and in EMS workforce issues.
