Institute of Public Health, the Masters in Public Health, and the Health
Science Library and Information Center, collaborate to implement systematic

Provides continual improvement to the research competitiveness of SoCONM-NARCH researchers and partners.
Recruits and retains junior American Indian/Alaska Native faculty and students in need of advanced
research training into existing UNM funded research training programs

UNM/HSC studies the particular relevance and validity of research conducted by researchers who come from
communities targeted for research and to better understand
participatory research relationships

Provides community and university-based trainings in community based participatory research,
public health through
the Public Health Outreach and Education Program, and other research methods through the Mentorship Education Program
