We only accept fourth year students interested in doing a month in rural New Mexico. We do not accept students wanting to rotate in the Albuquerque/Metro area. Indian health Service (IHS) rotations must be scheduled directly through the IHS site. Rotations are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. During preceptorship shortage periods we reserve the right to refuse out of state students. Please contact Ann Thibodeaux to check the availability of sites. All students must complete the application form available from the Office of Admissions and Student affairs. Students are required to complete the requirements for the Preceptorship for fourth year students. We will not accept students during the months of February and March.
