Center for Participatory Research

About Us

The Center for Participatory Research (CPR) was developed to promote supportive networks of research with community partners. It complements RIOS Net, a provider based research network working with clinical provider partners, as well as other consortia and groups on campus, in supporting Community Engaged Research within the Health Sciences Center Clinical and Translational Research Center.

The mission of the Center for Participatory Research (CPR) is to support a collaborative environment within UNM that is aligned with core values of community partnership, equity, and participatory engagement in order to co-create new knowledge and translate existing knowledge to improve quality of life among New Mexico’s diverse populations.
