  • MPH Student Handbook
The Masters in Public Health Program Student Handbook was published in May 2000, and is designed to provide students with the information they will need during their degree process. It contains the MPH Program’s mission, goals, core principles and its relationship to the professional field of public health and career preparation. It also contains practical information on registration, course description, independent study, practicum, completion of the degree, dual degrees, grading and graduation.
To help orient students to their new surroundings, there is a section on the location of classrooms, computers and the like, and a special section introducing the faculty.
The student handbook is intended to serve as a handy reference guide for students. The Program Director, Faculty Advisors, or Program Manager are available for additional assistance. The student handbooks are available in the MPH office.
  • Public Health Practicum Handbook

The Handbook details the purpose and objectives of the field training, the roles and responsibilities of students and preceptors and the field training options available. It also provides criteria for preceptors and field supervisors to assist students in the selection of a practicum. Potential preceptors may call 272-4173 and a handbook will be mailed to them upon request. Please visit the practicum page for details.
