The Public Health Program (PHP) at UNM provides leadership in graduate and community based public health education to improve the health of diverse populations in New Mexico, the Southwest, the United States/Mexico border region, Latin America, and among Native American populations.
Based on a social justice perspective, the PH program works in partnership with communities, tribes, and the public and private sectors to build on community strengths and increase the capacity to respond to public health problems.
Public Health Program APPLICATION DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 15TH EACH YEAR FOR THE FOLLOWING FALL SEMESTER.

The Public Health Program at the University of New Mexico has been accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) for an additional 7 years (through 2017). CEPH is the accrediting body for all programs and schools of public health.
