Internal Medicine Simulation

We plan to use the patient simulator as an aid in teaching residents management of urgent medical problems as well as proper technique in performing typical medical procedures. This gives the residents a chance to gain familiarity and confidence in dealing with such problems in a safe environment. While, at the same time, approximating the associated stress and time constraints of the real-life situation. The simulations will emphasize teamwork, communication skills, medical decision-making, and proper technique (where applicable).
