Mission

Our mission is to provide the highest level of safe and effective health care through simulation practice, education, and research to the people of New Mexico. In order to accomplish this mission, we have adopted these core principles:

  • We strive to set the standard for health care practitioners of New Mexico to deliver quality, patient-centered health care by providing clinical simulation experiences.
  • We strive to develop a multidisciplinary approach to clinical problems by providing diverse educational experiences that enhance clinical skills, competence and critical-thinking for all clinical disciplines.
  • We strive to promote research projects that will enhance healthcare and increase the effectiveness of the education experience while demonstrating improved clinical outcomes.

We strive to create a partnership with health care community affiliates that will enhance and promote our mission and core principles.
