Chief, Warren Laskey,
M.D.
Dr. Laskey is the Robert S. Flinn Professor of Medicine and the Chief,
Division of Cardiology. Dr. Laskey received his MD from New York
University School of Medicine, New York City, New York, he completed his residency at the
University of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and completed his fellowship in
Cardiology at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Laskey is ABIM certified in Internal
Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. His areas of
clinical expertise are interventional cardiology, valvular heart disease
and adult congenital heart disease.
Jonathan Abrams,
M.D.
Dr. Abrams is
a Distinguished Professor of
Medicine, University of New Mexico School of Medicine, and former Chief
of the Division of Cardiology. He is ABIM certified in Internal
Medicine and Cardio Vascular Disease. His special
interests and expertise
include preventive cardiology, congestive
heart failure, blood lipid abnormalities, coronary artery
disease and valvular heart disease.
Gerald Charlton,
M.D.
Dr. Charlton is an Associate Professor of Medicine,
and Program Director
of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine
Cardiovascular
Disease Fellowship Training Program and practices at the VA Hospital.
Dr. Charlton is ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and completed
cardiology fellowship at the University of New Mexico School of
Medicine. He is ABIM certified in both
Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, and specializes in clinical cardiology
and echocardiography.
Milton V. Icenogle,
M.D.
Dr. Icenogle received his MD Degree from the University of California,
San Francisco and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at
the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where he also completed
his fellowship training in Cardiology. He is ABIM certified in
Internal Medicine, and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Icenogle is an Associate
Professor at the University of New Mexico School of
Medicine and practices at the VA Hospital. He specializes in clinical
cardiology.
Charlotte K. Jutila,
M.D.

Dr. Jutila received her MD Degree from the University of New Mexico
School of Medicine, completed her residency in Internal Medicine, and completed her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship training. She is
ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and
Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Jutila is an Assistant Professor at the University
of New Mexico School of Medicine. Her areas of interest include
women's heart health.
Larry Osborn,
M.D.

Dr. Osborn is a Professor in the
Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology. He is a graduate of
Tulane University School of Medicine, and served his residency at LSU in
New Orleans and fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences
Center in Lubbock, Texas. He is ABIM certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular
Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Osborn's specialty
is
interventional cardiology.
Veena
Raizada, M.D.

Dr. Raizada received her MD Degree from the University of New Delhi,
India and completed residency training in
Internal Medicine at Chandigarh and at Lady Hardinge Hospital, India.
She completed her fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of
Liverpool. Dr. Raizada is a
Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Her
special interests and expertise are
non-invasive cardiology and hypertension.
Dr. Barry Ramo is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago, and completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Duke University. Dr. Ramo is ABIM certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology which includes arrhythmia diagnosis and electronic cardiac devices. Dr. Ramo is the Medical Editor at KOAT TV (abc) in New Mexico.
Mark J. Ricciardi,
M.D.

Dr.
Ricciardi is director of Interventional
Cardiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the
Health Sciences Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at the School
of Medicine. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular
disease, and interventional cardiology, he completed medical school at
NYU, residency at Yale and cardiovascular disease and interventional
cardiology fellowships at Michigan. In addition to extensive experience and interests in
coronary stents, complex coronary intervention, peripheral vascular
intervention, minimally invasive treatment of structural heart disease,
cardiac MRI and coronary CT angiography, Dr. Ricciardi maintains an
office practice and sees patients there regularly.
Carlos A. Roldan,
M.D.

Dr. Roldan received his MD from the University of San Carlos, Guatemala
City, Guatemala and completed his residency in
Internal Medicine at the Roosevelt Hospital at the University of San
Carlos and the Sinai Hospital of Detroit, Wayne State
University in Detroit, MI. He completed a Cardiovascular Disease
Fellowship at the University of New Mexico
School of Medicine.
Dr. Roldan is
ABIM certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His areas of
clinical expertise are echocardiography and valvular heart disease.
Mark W. Sheldon,
M.D.

Dr. Sheldon received his MD from the University of Buffalo, New York, completed his
residency in Internal Medicine at
the University of Pennsylvania, his fellowship in Cardiology at
the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, and completed
his Interventional Cardiology Training at William Beaumont Hospital in
Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Sheldon is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the
University of New Mexico
School of Medicine. He is ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and
Cardiovascular Disease and board eligible in Interventional Cardiology. His area of clinical expertise is interventional
cardiology.
Robert Taylor,
M.D.
Dr. Taylor is an Associate Professor, Director of the Heart Failure
Center and Inpatient Cardiology. He received his MD Degree from the
University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed his residency
in Internal Medicine, and his fellowship training in Cardiology at the
University of California, Davis. He is ABIM certified in Internal
Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. Taylor's area of interest is
heart failure.
T. Craig Timm,

Dr. Timm is a Professor at the University of New Mexico School of
Medicine.
He received his MD from Stanford University, and completed his residency
in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology training at Boston City
Hospital.
Dr. Timm received additional training in Interventional Cardiology at
Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. He is ABIM certified in
both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His area of clinical expertise is
