Family life

We are supportive of all families and understand the vital role they play in supporting our housestaff. Whether you plan on having children, getting married, having a commitment ceremony - if unexpected events happen and require you to be with your family, we are committed to supporting you both in and outside of the hospital.

Resident Voice

Our program is constantly evolving in response to resident input. Representatives from each class sit on our Resident Voice committee which meets every 2 weeks with our program director, associate program directors, chief residents and future chief residents. Goals of this unique committee are to increase communication between residents and program administration while creating innovative approaches to improve our program. Residents also sit on the Resident Council which meets regularly with residents from all residency programs. We also have more informal ways to contribute to the program including monthly housestaff meetings and an "open-door" policy among all program leadership.
