KUGR Facility Custom Laboratory Services
The KUGR Facility Director and Staff are expert molecular biologists and can perform custom services for UNM laboratories without experience or expertise in handling RNA or DNA or in performing genomics or gene expression assays. We can help design experiments and approaches and can perform experiments with a few or with hundreds of samples. We can also help analyze data and prepare figures for publications or grant proposals.
In the past, the KUGR Facility Staff have provided a wide variety of custom services including:
- Analysis of restriction fragment length polymorphisms.
- Analysis of mitochondrial DNA samples.
- Preparation of RNA and DNA from patient samples (e.g. blood, saliva).
- Analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) from paraffin-embedded samples.
