Why should you get involved? For your community and your school! Getting together with
your peers to build relationships and fulfill new challenges! And the
greatest factor of all... to develop new relationships with faculty
advisors!
All medical student organizations and interest groups are under the MSA
(Medical Student Association) umbrella.

Note: Before you charter your organization, attend a
Charter Workshop so you will
understand what to do and all the rights and privileges that come with being
a chartered student group at UNM.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTING OFFICE
The Student Government Accounting Office is a service department of the
University that processes all funds allocated by GPSA.
The following forms are for accessing and utilizing ASUNM, GPSA, and self
generated fund through accounts at the Student Government Account Office.
Please note these forms/links are not maintained by the SOM Office of
Student Services. If you encounter problems accessing the forms please email
OSS.
Internal Requisition - To initiate any type of payment on or off campus,
including reimbursements and funds transfers.

Signature Authorization Form - To add/remove authorized signers from a
student organization's account.
Budget Revision - For organizations using ASUNM or GPSA funds, this must
be submitted and approved by the respective Finance Committee prior to
spending funding for a different purpose than specifically allocated. For
submission deadlines, please check with SGAO.
Instructions for Budget Revision - Detailed instructions on how to fill
out the Budget Revision Form. It is strongly recommended that you request a
balance sheet from SGAO (SUB 1018) prior to filling out this form so you
have the most accurate and timely information.
Sample Budget Revision
The Student Government Accounting Office (SGAO) is a service department
of the University of New Mexico that processes all funds allocated by ASUNM
and GPSA, the undergraduate and graduate student governments. There are over
250 clubs and organizations funded through allocation of student fees. They
serve as an intermediary between the University's accounting offices and the
student organizations funded by ASUNM and GPSA. If you have questions or
