Committee on Student Promotions and Evaluation [CSPE] is responsible for tracking students’ progress through the medical school curriculum, promotions, and recommending students for the Doctor of Medicine degree. CSPE also handles requests from students to float a block, Leaves of Absence, Credit Requests, and Decelerations. Student disciplinary issues are handled by CSPE.
CSPE is chaired by Sheila Hickey, MD.
Curriculum Committee is responsible for reviewing the entire medical school curriculum and recommending necessary changes to the faculty. The Curriculum Committee also determines the student promotion policies, and recommends major policy changes and the awarding of the Doctor of Medicine degree to the faculty.
Curriculum Committee is chaired by Paul McGuire, PhD.
