Phase I-2 students are given a Phase II Student Handbook during Transitions Block prior to beginning Phase II. The Phase II Student Handbook contains policies and information that pertain to the clerkships including Who’s Who In Phase II, general clerkship information, assessment and grading, other activities in Phase II including tutorials, continuity clinic and PIM, other requirements including medical student scholarly research project and USMLE Step 2CK, 2 CS, orientation information for each clerkship, survival tips and student advocacy, information on preparing for Phase III and Phase II policies and procedures. Students are expected to review and have a full understanding of the information presented therein. Students are also expected to keep their handbooks throughout Phase II.
