Students may request a Leave of Absence [LOA] to 'float' a Phase II block only with the prior approval of the Committee on Student Promotions and Evaluations. Acceptable reasons for requesting an LOA may include remediation, board preparation, leave of absence, illness and pregnancy. Requests outside these guidelines are strongly discouraged, but may be considered on an case-by-case basis.
Phase II student requesting a LOA must fill out a Phase II-III LOA Request form [pdf]. Hard copies are are also available in the Office of Student Services. CSPE must receive a completed LOA Request Form along with a letter stating the reason(s) you wish to float, any pertinent information regarding your actions during your LOA and any pertinent steps you will take to re-enter the curriculum following your LOA.
Phase II schedules are randomly assigned.
