The
Department of Pathology is one of six member departments of the Biomedical
Sciences Graduate Program (BSGP). Students complete a single application for
admission to the program and can elect to conduct research in any of the six
departments. The program provides competitive stipends and health insurance.
The departments affiliated with BSGP have a tradition of conducting highly
interactive interdepartmental and interdisciplinary research. The Department
of Pathology is especially noted for its translational research initiatives,
produced through the integration of strong basic and clinical research
