Instructions for Clinical

This is a UNM on-line course. Only registered UNM students can log in to the course.
All materials will be submitted using the course software WebCT. The address for the WebCT courses is http://vista.unm.edu. The student will have the username and password to access the course. View the course syllabus to see additional information about the Immunohematology Rotation. Please contact Jack Granato (jgranato@salud.unm.edu) at the Health Sciences Center Library at 925-4169 with any technical questions.
Exam: MLS instructor will selective release the test. The student is to call MLS instructor when ready for the exam.
The exam can be found in the WebCT course from the Exam I link on the Homepage. The student will be able to look at their results in WebCT immediately after they submit the exams.
Student Checklist (Evaluation): Requires password from Clinical Tech. Please do not share password with student.
The Clinical Tech is required to fill out a series of checklists. These checklists can be found in the WebCT course from the Checklists/Evaluations link on the Homepage. The bench tech(s) can answer a few questions at a time and "Save" the answer before exiting. Please view the course to determine when the checklists should be submitted.These checklists should be submitted by the end of the course.
Clinical Professional Development Evaluation: Requires password from Clinical Tech. Please do not share password with student.
The Clinical Tech should fill out the Clinical Professional Development evaluation in the WebCT course with the student and submit it. The evaluation can be found in the WebCT course from the Checklists/Evaluations link on the Homepage. top
